Healthcare Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Supervise and coordinate a remote team of Nurse Practitioners throughout the United States

• Support a telemedicine operation available 24/7, 365 days a year

• Manage healthcare providers remotely while ensuring operational coverage

• Address scheduling challenges and confirm providers fulfill their commitments

• Uphold accountability for scheduled shifts, attendance, responsiveness, and operational responsibilities

• Collaborate with vendors, providers, facilities, and the clinical team

• Identify and rectify scheduling or coverage deficiencies

• Arrange for replacement coverage for any missed shifts

• Address operational inquiries from healthcare facilities

• Appropriately escalate clinical or operational issues as necessary

• Maintain open communication with providers and internal stakeholders

• Take initiative to resolve issues independently until completion

• Manage and coordinate remote Nurse Practitioners across the United States

• Hold providers accountable for scheduled shifts, attendance, responsiveness, and operational commitments

• Oversee provider scheduling and guarantee adequate coverage across the telemedicine operation

• Collaborate closely with vendors, providers, facilities, and the clinical team

• Maintain precise spreadsheets, schedules, operational records, and provider information

• Proactively identify and address scheduling or coverage gaps

• Respond to missed shifts and arrange replacement coverage as needed

• Manage calls and operational inquiries from healthcare facilities

• Escalate clinical or operational matters as necessary

• Ensure clear communication with providers and internal stakeholders

• Take ownership of issues until resolved without waiting for direction

• Be comfortable working during U.S. hours
