Healthcare Operations Executive – Public Sector Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform operational assessments for hospitals, health systems, and medical groups.

• Enhance organizational structure, governance, and management practices.

• Tackle issues related to patient access, scheduling, throughput, and service delivery.

• Boost financial performance, revenue cycles, and resource utilization.

• Facilitate value-based care, provider alignment, and transformation in care delivery.

• Spearhead strategic planning, service expansion, and organizational change initiatives.

• Create performance measurement systems, executive dashboards, and oversee implementation.

• Offer interim leadership and executive advisory support as needed.

• Act as an executive advisor, subject matter expert, or engagement lead.

• Conduct leadership interviews and evaluate current operational practices.

• Identify performance deficiencies and propose feasible enhancements.

• Formulate implementation strategies, accountability frameworks, and success metrics.

• Deliver findings to agency leadership, executive teams, and governing boards.

• Provide relevant expertise for proposals and client presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive leadership or consulting experience in hospitals, health systems, medical groups, health plans, or similar healthcare organizations.

• Proven track record in enhancing operational, financial, or service delivery performance.

• Experience managing complex initiatives and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convert analysis into actionable steps.

• Government and public-sector experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Valuable experience with academic medical centers, community health centers, rural healthcare, or publicly funded healthcare programs.

• Capability to contribute as a broad executive leader or as a specialist with in-depth knowledge.

• Scope, compensation, availability, and responsibilities will be determined for each engagement.
