Healthcare Economics Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Join the Healthcare Economics Practice Group at Econ One as an Analyst.

• Provide consultation on economic analysis and econometric projects related to antitrust, class action, and various commercial disputes.

• Engage in cases involving monopolization, price fixing, healthcare reimbursement, pharmaceutical pricing, and medical monitoring costs.

• Perform research and statistical analyses.

• Develop models and validate findings.

• Apply critical thinking to synthesize complex information into clear and concise insights for presentations and other deliverables.

• Effectively communicate results to propel projects forward.

• Participate in all facets of consulting engagements.

• Integrate knowledge with Econ One’s methodologies for research and data analytics.

• Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Stata, Python, SQL, SAS, and/or R.

• Experience with healthcare or claims data is preferred but not mandatory.

• A bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience or a master’s degree is required.

• A degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Engineering, or Finance is essential.

• A GPA of 3.5 or higher is required.

• High ethical standards and integrity.

• Strong decision-making and judgment skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Well-informed in economic theory and practices.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks across various projects while adhering to deadlines.

• Willingness to continuously learn, improve, and adapt.
