Healthcare Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service and engagement via phone.

• Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service.

• Assess customer needs and assist with healthcare-related issues and concerns through outreach programs.

• Respond to the demands of a 24/7/365 operation as necessary.

• Research, identify, and resolve issues.

• Verify eligibility for services and make callbacks as needed.

• Achieve and support established service, sales, and business goals by meeting or exceeding performance standards.

• Communicate effectively with callers from various backgrounds.

• Manage multiple tasks while thinking, speaking, and typing.

• Listen attentively, receive, process, and document detailed information.

• Reach out to health plan members, assist them in scheduling care assessments, and motivate them to take the next step.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding instructions and correspondence.

• Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.

• Capable of addressing and resolving issues using sound judgment.

• Computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate through various programs.

• Comfortable using dual screens.

• Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office applications.

• Dependable attendance and adherence to a set schedule.

• Effective communication skills with callers from diverse socio-economic, cultural, geographic, racial, and age groups.

• Ability to multitask (think, talk, and type simultaneously).

• Excellent listening abilities to receive, process, and document detailed information.

• Completion of assessments may be required; assessments must be completed independently.
