This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Create and implement sales and access strategies for Sobi Rare Disease products.
• Meet the designated goals for the region as well as for specific institutions, hospitals, and health systems.
• Guarantee that patients have access to therapies in hospitals and other care environments in accordance with product labeling.
• Collaborate with Sobi teams to engage with health-system stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, P&T committees, Pharmacy Directors, and external experts.
• Manage account-based initiatives alongside Market Access, Patient Services, and medical teams.
• Distribute on-label scientific information and adapt it for practical clinical application.
• Foster relationships with key decision-makers and provide essential product and disease information to enhance patient-care protocols.
• Support rare-disease advocacy promoting patient protocols that align with labeling.
• Guide Sobi products through key pathways within assigned health systems.
• Cultivate relationships with thought leaders and develop future KOLs through residency, fellowship, multidisciplinary team, clinical in-service, and educational initiatives.
• Target, prioritize, clinically manage, and engage with physician and administration/leadership stakeholders.
• Formulate and implement business plans in collaboration with cross-functional team members.
• Create and execute account plans that are in sync with national and regional strategies, including priorities, objectives, action plans, key targets, network maps, and personnel coordination.
• A bachelor's degree, preferably in a scientific/medical or business field, or equivalent experience is required.
• 8–12 years of proven field sales experience.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of complex institutional experience in the Rare Disease, Specialty Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Medical Device sectors.
• Experience with the intricate dynamics of biologic distribution and acquisition at the inpatient level is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with navigating Health System formulary pathways and the complex access/reimbursement landscape.
• Outstanding account and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent customer management skills.
• Strong clinical insight with demonstrated experience in complex diseases, preferably in rare diseases.
• Proven success with medical benefit products being added to hospital formularies.
• Previous experience collaborating with Pediatric and Adult Rheumatology and/or Hematology/Oncology physicians is an advantage.
