This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the evaluation of programs, performance measurement, implementation assessments, and technical assistance activities for THEEB.
• Support the planning of evaluations.
• Create logic models and performance indicators.
• Gather and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data related to the program.
• Interpret results within the context of the program.
• Draft evaluation reports and prepare presentations.
• Utilize implementation research concepts and methodologies to evaluate program processes, as well as identify barriers and facilitators to implementation.
• Recognize opportunities for program enhancement.
• Conduct thorough assessments of program or project inputs, activities, outputs, and outcomes.
• Organize and facilitate meetings with both internal and external partners.
• Provide training and support for evaluation methods, concepts, and tools.
• Manage and utilize CDC administrative systems and Microsoft Office applications effectively.
• Navigate government procedures and guidelines.
• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining the necessary customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property.
• A Bachelor's degree in public health, health science, epidemiology, evaluation, social science, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of pertinent professional experience in public health, evaluation, health science, program monitoring, or a related area.
• Proven experience in conducting systematic assessments of program inputs, activities, outputs, and outcomes.
• Background in supporting evaluation plans, formulating evaluation questions, setting indicators, data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
• Experience in developing or aiding in the creation of program logic models and pinpointing suitable program outcomes.
• Knowledge of implementation research concepts and methods, including process evaluation and the assessment of implementation barriers and facilitators.
• Experience in facilitating or aiding internal and external partner meetings while providing evaluation support or training.
• Understanding of the rules, procedures, and principles related to intramural and extramural program development, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to use and manage CDC administrative systems, including Human Subjects, OMB, IRB, and E-Clearance.
• Previous experience with government procedures and guidelines is beneficial.
• Capable of successfully completing any government-required background investigation or security clearance, if applicable to the task order.
