This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the formulation and implementation of extensive sales strategies for health plans.
• Meet revenue goals and enhance market presence within the health plan sector.
• Build and sustain relationships with critical partners in the health plan industry.
• Act as the main point of contact for strategic conversations and collaboration efforts.
• Discover and pursue new business prospects with health plan partners.
• Work alongside product development, marketing, and operations teams.
• Evaluate market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory developments.
• Create and present sales pitches to executives within health plans.
• Negotiate agreements and finalize contracts.
• Set up performance metrics and reporting systems.
• Monitor sales outcomes, assess results, and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Finance, Public Health, or a related area is required.
• More than 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare sales, health plan partnerships, business development, account management, or payer strategy.
• A demonstrated history of crafting and implementing effective sales strategies for health plans.
• Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare payer environment, including Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, MCOs, and value-based care models.
• Proven capability to negotiate and finalize complex contracts at the enterprise level.
• Excellent consultative selling, relationship management, and communication skills at the executive level.
• Experience presenting to C-suite executives and senior leaders in healthcare.
• Proficient in developing business cases, value propositions, proposals, and sales presentations targeted at healthcare payer audiences.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Preferred experience in population health, care management, value-based care, risk adjustment, quality improvement, or healthcare technology solutions.
• An established network of health plans and contacts within the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Experience in responding to RFPs, forming strategic partnerships, and managing large-scale health plan implementations is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship currently or in the future.
