This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with clients and team members daily to foster and maintain positive and productive working relationships.
• Monitor device readings and high-volume medical alert alarms with genuine concern.
• Reach out to clients to assess if additional intervention or support is necessary.
• Handle inbound calls and manage all incoming alarm signal activities, taking appropriate actions.
• Make outbound calls to customers, emergency contacts, and Police/Fire/EMS regarding alarm activities, following standard operating procedures.
• Determine response requirements and priorities for situations and healthcare professionals in line with established protocols.
• Contact individuals via telephone to evaluate patient alerts by modality.
• Adhere to alert workflows to decide on the next steps in the call process.
• Verify demographics and related data, entering patient information into the appropriate systems.
• Address routine inquiries and relay information and messages to healthcare professionals, agencies, departments, and other necessary parties.
• Ensure access to and security of sensitive materials.
• Explain products or services and respond to customer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts, accounts, and orders.
• Respond to client questions and calls using both scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Assist with onboarding new clients and support existing clients through interdepartmental collaboration.
• Interact professionally with clients, Case Managers, and Home Service Representatives.
• Troubleshoot devices and report malfunctions for necessary maintenance.
• Participate in additional projects or duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional or healthcare experience.
• LPN/CNA/Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
• Experience in a Call Center is preferred.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A positive attitude paired with an energetic pace.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to meet the specified physical demands, including extended sitting, frequent use of telephone/headset/computer, data entry, occasional standing and walking, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
