This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
β’ Serve as a supportive biostatistician or statistical programmer collaborating with the study team and sponsor.
β’ Assist in drafting the statistical sections of study protocols.
β’ Conduct sample size and power calculations for various studies.
β’ Aid in reviewing data management plans, data specifications, and related documentation for studies.
β’ Contribute to the development of statistical analysis plans.
β’ Assist in defining specifications for analysis datasets.
β’ Support the creation of statistical programs that produce listings, tables, and figures as defined by the statistical analysis plans.
β’ Execute quality control on TLFs and other analysis datasets.
β’ Provide statistical insights for Clinical Study Reports.
β’ Help ensure that quality standards are maintained across all projects.
β’ Evaluate and implement new methodologies and techniques.
β’ Assist in cultivating thought leadership opportunities.
β’ 2-4 years of experience, with a background in healthcare consulting or pharmaceutical organizations.
β’ Strong understanding of fundamental statistical concepts and methodologies.
β’ Familiarity with predictive equations, survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis, meta-analysis, mixed treatment comparisons, and hierarchical analysis techniques.
β’ Knowledge of machine learning techniques and Bayesian statistics is an advantage.
β’ Proficient statistical programming skills in standard software such as SAS, R, SQL, and/or Python.
β’ Excellent scientific, business writing, and presentation skills, with a keen attention to detail.
β’ Outstanding communication skills, particularly in conveying technical information and project concepts.
β’ Proficient in written and spoken English.
β’ Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity for rapid learning.
β’ Capability to discuss technical topics in non-technical terms with project team members.
β’ Ability to function effectively both in a team and independently, taking a leadership role on methodological components.
β’ Masterβs degree or higher in Public Health, Health Economics, Health Policy, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative disciplines.
