Health Economics Associate – Advanced Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as a supportive biostatistician or statistical programmer collaborating with the study team and sponsor.

• Assist in drafting the statistical sections of study protocols.

• Conduct sample size and power calculations for various studies.

• Aid in reviewing data management plans, data specifications, and related documentation for studies.

• Contribute to the development of statistical analysis plans.

• Assist in defining specifications for analysis datasets.

• Support the creation of statistical programs that produce listings, tables, and figures as defined by the statistical analysis plans.

• Execute quality control on TLFs and other analysis datasets.

• Provide statistical insights for Clinical Study Reports.

• Help ensure that quality standards are maintained across all projects.

• Evaluate and implement new methodologies and techniques.

• Assist in cultivating thought leadership opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience, with a background in healthcare consulting or pharmaceutical organizations.

• Strong understanding of fundamental statistical concepts and methodologies.

• Familiarity with predictive equations, survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis, meta-analysis, mixed treatment comparisons, and hierarchical analysis techniques.

• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and Bayesian statistics is an advantage.

• Proficient statistical programming skills in standard software such as SAS, R, SQL, and/or Python.

• Excellent scientific, business writing, and presentation skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Outstanding communication skills, particularly in conveying technical information and project concepts.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity for rapid learning.

• Capability to discuss technical topics in non-technical terms with project team members.

• Ability to function effectively both in a team and independently, taking a leadership role on methodological components.

• Master’s degree or higher in Public Health, Health Economics, Health Policy, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative disciplines.
