Health Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage a caseload of members from their initial onboarding through the 90-day milestone and beyond.

• Conduct virtual kickoff and check-in sessions.

• Provide asynchronous support to members through warm, timely, and clear communication.

• Develop customized, data-driven plans focused on fitness, nutrition, sleep, and recovery utilizing AI tools.

• Employ motivational interviewing and reflective listening techniques to facilitate behavior change.

• Contextualize body composition analyses, bloodwork, and GLP-1 considerations within the coaching framework under the guidance of the Clinical Team.

• Monitor progress toward member-defined goals and celebrate achievements in behavior and consistency.

• Share insights from members with the team and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the coaching program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Full NBC-HWC (National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach) board certification is mandatory.

• An associate's degree or higher, or an equivalent experience-based pathway to coaching certification.

• A minimum of 2 years of client-facing coaching or training experience.

• Demonstrated experience in managing a high-volume caseload.

• Ability to engage with a diverse member population across various ages, backgrounds, cultures, abilities, and health starting points.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Strong verbal communication skills and presence for video coaching.

• Capability to synthesize health data effectively.

• Current knowledge of health trends and experience in coaching clients using nutrition apps and wearable devices.

• Additional certifications like ACE Health Coach, Precision Nutrition L1, or NASM Behavior Change Specialist are advantageous, but not mandatory.

• Personal training or strength credentials are advantageous, but not mandatory.

• Certification in nutrition coaching is a plus, but not required.

• An advanced degree in exercise science, physiology, kinesiology, or a related discipline is beneficial, but not required.

• Experience with clinical collaboration, luxury clientele, coaching specialties, or startups is advantageous, but not required.
