Health Cloud Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design of functional solutions for Salesforce Health Cloud in various healthcare projects.

• Conduct discovery and design workshops with stakeholders from payer, provider, medtech/distribution, and pharmaceutical sectors.

• Present design choices and trade-offs, ensuring that any outstanding questions are documented and resolved.

• Create and update data model mappings, object and field designs, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and design approval documents.

• Ensure compliance with PHI handling, HIPAA, BAA requirements, Salesforce Shield, field-level encryption, consent, and access limitations.

• Collaborate with technical leaders to shape end-to-end architecture across Data 360, Agentforce, Service Cloud Voice, Field Service, Revenue Cloud/ARM, and MuleSoft.

• Develop integration patterns for EHRs, core administration, billing, and other record-keeping systems.

• Convert functional designs into actionable insights for technical architects, developers, Data 360 specialists, and Agentforce specialists.

• Evaluate configurations against specifications and assist with UAT and deployment processes.

• Define responsibilities for clients and NeuraFlash, including data access, subject matter expert availability, environment access, and compliance approvals.

• Create reference architectures, reusable patterns, scoping calculators, SOW templates, and enablement resources for the Health practice.

• Assist in pre-sales discovery, solution development, demonstrations, and cost estimations.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to both functional and technical team members.

• Keep up-to-date with Salesforce Health Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, and Industries updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in Salesforce consulting, solution architecture, or business analysis.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud design and implementation.

• A minimum of two complete Salesforce Health Cloud implementations.

• Direct experience within the healthcare sector, specifically in payer, provider/IDN, medical device/distribution, or pharmaceutical organizations.

• Familiarity with healthcare funding, regulations, operations, CMS reimbursement, payer-provider interactions, and member/patient journeys.

• Solid understanding of HIPAA, PHI handling, and BAAs.

• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud data models and functionalities.

• Proven experience in leading discovery workshops and documenting design decisions through to sign-off.

• Experience designing integrations with healthcare systems, EHRs, HL7/FHIR, claims, administration, billing, or order systems.

• Familiarity with MuleSoft or similar integration platforms.

• Capability to link solution outcomes to business value.

• Proficient with flow-charting and data-modeling tools like Lucidchart.

• Experience with agile delivery methodologies.

• Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.

• Preferred credentials include Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional and Application or Solution Architect.

• Additional experience with Data 360, Agentforce, Life Sciences Cloud, Veeva CRM, Service Cloud Voice, Field Service, Revenue Cloud/ARM, payer distribution, IDN, or consulting practice is advantageous.
