This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the functional solution design for Salesforce Health Cloud in various healthcare projects.
• Serve as the functional lead for NeuraFlash’s Health practice.
• Conduct discovery and design sessions with business and IT stakeholders from client organizations.
• Communicate design decisions and trade-offs, ensuring open questions are documented and resolved.
• Create and update functional designs, data model mappings, object and field designs, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and design approval documents.
• Design solutions for regulated environments, addressing PHI management, HIPAA compliance, BAAs, Salesforce Shield, encryption, consent, and minimum necessary access.
• Collaborate with technical leads to shape the end-to-end architecture involving Data 360, Agentforce, Service Cloud Voice, Field Service, Revenue Cloud/ARM, and MuleSoft.
• Develop integration strategies for EHRs, core administration, billing, and other record-keeping systems.
• Convert functional designs into formats suitable for technical architects, developers, and specialized teams.
• Assess configurations against specifications and assist in UAT and deployment processes.
• Establish roles and responsibilities for data access, subject-matter expertise, environmental access, and compliance approvals between clients and NeuraFlash.
• Create reference architectures, reusable patterns, scoping calculators, and SOW templates for the Health practice.
• Assist in pre-sales activities through discovery calls, solution development, demonstrations, and estimations.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to both functional and technical team members.
• Keep up-to-date with developments in Salesforce Health Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, and other industry releases.
• A minimum of 5 years in Salesforce consulting, solution architecture, or business analysis.
• At least 2 years of practical experience in Salesforce Health Cloud design and delivery, involving at least two full lifecycle implementations.
• Relevant experience within the healthcare sector, including payers, providers/IDNs, medical devices, distribution, or pharmaceutical organizations.
• Knowledge of healthcare funding, regulations, and operations, including CMS reimbursement, payer-provider dynamics, and patient journeys.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA, PHI management, and BAAs.
• Extensive knowledge of the Health Cloud data model and its features, including Person Accounts, Care Programs, Care Plans, Provider/Payer models, benefits verification, referrals, Utilization Management, and Intelligent Document Processing.
• Capability to lead discovery workshops, facilitate design decisions with senior stakeholders, and document approvals.
• Experience in designing integrations with healthcare record systems, including EHRs like Epic or similar platforms, HL7/FHIR, claims, or core administration systems.
• Proficiency in linking solution outcomes to business value through effective storytelling.
• Familiarity with flow-charting and data-modeling tools such as Lucidchart and agile methodologies.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
• Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional and an Application or Solution Architect credential.
• Experience with Salesforce Industries or OmniStudio is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with Data 360/Data Cloud and Agentforce or similar CDP/generative-AI platforms is preferred.
• Background in Life Sciences Cloud or Veeva CRM is a plus.
• Experience with Service Cloud Voice, Field Service, or Revenue Cloud/Asset Revenue Management is preferred.
• Familiarity with payer distribution channels and integrated delivery networks is an advantage.
• Previous experience in establishing a practice, competency, or center of excellence at a consulting partner is preferred.
