Health Assessment I, II – Didactic Nursing Faculty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Instruct students in Health Assessment I and II within Chamberlain's online BSN Nursing program.

• Act as a facilitator, mentor, coach, and advisor for students.

• Conduct asynchronous discussions and lead synchronous live lectures on a weekly basis.

• Offer support to students and address inquiries through email, online conferencing, or telephone communications.

• Supply students with an approved syllabus that outlines terminal course objectives.

• Organize, prepare, update, and revise course materials as necessary.

• Utilize online technologies along with course-related software, websites, email, and online discussions.

• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.

• Publish course objectives, assignment and examination dates, along with evaluation weightings.

• Ensure that examinations align with course objectives.

• Prepare and grade exams in a consistent and fair manner.

• Provide prompt feedback to students.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree in Nursing is mandatory.

• An unencumbered professional nurse licensure in Illinois is required.

• A Compact (multi-state) RN license is preferred.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience is essential.

• Strong communication skills along with a high level of initiative and sound judgment are necessary.

• A genuine enthusiasm for nursing, education, and lifelong learning is important.

• Exceptional expertise in the subject matter of instruction is required.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities are needed.

• A willingness to support students and colleagues with passion, respect, and care is essential.

• A strong sense of responsibility and purpose, with a desire to enrich the lives of colleagues, students, and the wider community, is vital.
