Health Advocate – Call Coordinator, Healthy Outcomes Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct both inbound and outbound calls to members and healthcare providers.

• Assist members in securing healthcare appointments, screenings, vaccinations, and medication refills.

• Address and navigate barriers impacting members’ health.

• Provide professional and compassionate conversations with members.

• Educate members to help them make informed health decisions.

• Clarify benefits related to specific screenings and medications.

• Support members and providers with health services, medications, and available resources.

• Precisely document conversations in the health records of members.

• Raise issues for resolution as needed.

• Achieve business metrics and targets while maintaining efficiency in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Strong active listening and interpersonal abilities.

• High level of computer literacy, with the capability to troubleshoot issues.

• Proficient in Windows and web-based applications, as well as digital communication tools.

• A dependable high-speed internet connection of at least 50 Mbps.

• An appropriate remote workspace.

• Hardwired computer connection is mandatory; DSL, satellite, and wireless broadband are not accepted.

• Bilingual or multilingual candidates are strongly preferred.

• Experience with HEDIS screening measures is preferred.

• Familiarity with behavior change principles is preferred.

• Over 1 year of experience meeting production expectations or handling high-volume calls is highly preferred.

• More than 2 years’ experience in a call center or outreach role involving members/consumers is preferred.

• At least 3 years’ experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

• Medical certification, such as a certified nursing assistant or medical assistant, is preferred.
