Head of Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Formulate the objectives and key results for the CEERJ Supply Chain Strategy.

• Evaluate, recommend, and obtain approval for ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing the Supply Chain.

• Utilize the latest digital and data strategic tools to create value for patients, customers, and SOBI as a company.

• Implement situational leadership behaviors throughout the organization.

• Harness the potential of diverse teams through effective collaboration and content-focused discussions to achieve exceptional results.

• Maintain focus on mission-critical tasks amidst daily operations.

• Communicate effectively across the organization regarding complex situations, decisions, and actions taken.

• Integrate the commercial and operational elements to provide a comprehensive view of the end-to-end supply chain.

• Execute strategy and foster continuous enhancements of supply chain processes by leveraging digital and data-driven Industry 4.0 standards.

• Lead and nurture diverse teams within the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent higher education in Economics, Natural Science, or Engineering within Biotech Ecosystems.

• Over 5 years of experience in leading teams (either virtually or through direct reporting) for complex Supply Chain operations in the Pharma/Biotech sector.

• Proficient in English with substantial cross-cultural awareness and experience.

• Residency in one of the CEERJ countries for a minimum of 9 to 12 months is beneficial for roles in Pharma Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales.

• Certification as an Operational Excellence AGILE Leader, green belt, or equivalent training is advantageous.

• Strong communication skills for horizontal interactions across the end-to-end supply chain and vertical communication from executives to knowledgeable experts.

• Leadership style must be adaptable to various content and cultural contexts, skill sets, and organizational ranks, applying the appropriate content and context promptly to achieve superior outcomes.

• The ability to remain focused on strategic tasks is essential, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving to deliver economically viable and patient-centered objectives.
