This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Define, implement, and continuously enhance the global Risk Management framework, policies, procedures, and governance processes.
• Spearhead the company's risk management strategy in alignment with business goals and long-term growth aspirations.
• Collaborate with Business Units and leadership teams on risk-informed decision-making during tendering, project execution, and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee Risk Review and Project Review processes.
• Assess enterprise risk exposure and incorporate lessons learned throughout the organization.
• Deliver risk reporting, insights, and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team.
• Ensure adherence to governance, risk policy, and authorization framework through KPIs, business intelligence tools, and management reporting.
• Improve risk management methodologies, tools, processes, and organizational practices.
• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Hitachi Corporate, GEM Sector, Business Unit leadership, customers, and industry peers.
• Create a competency framework for the global Risk Management community and promote a risk-aware culture.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and development for risk management professionals.
• Uphold ethical conduct, integrity, governance, and compliance.
• Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Risk Management, Sales, Tendering, Project Management, Contract Management, or similar disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience in an international, project-focused business environment.
• Profound understanding of enterprise risk management, governance frameworks, and business controls.
• Strong commercial and financial insight.
• Experience in influencing senior stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project execution, contract management, financial performance, and margin protection strategies.
• Proven track record in leading organizational improvement initiatives and driving change in complex global settings.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Additional languages are considered an advantage.
