This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee Innovaccer’s payer product portfolio, which encompasses AI applications in IT, financial, and clinical operations.
• Take charge of the complete product strategy and roadmap for Galaxy, Innovaccer’s payer solution.
• Establish Galaxy’s AI-focused roadmap across various areas including risk adjustment, quality management, payment integrity, utilization management, emerging use cases, payer segments, and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer to shape Innovaccer’s comprehensive product narrative.
• Guide product leaders in creating top-tier products.
• Develop and manage Galaxy’s go-to-market strategy, which includes target segments, buyer personas, sales motions, and proof points.
• Actively pitch, negotiate, conduct demonstrations, and assist in closing strategic deals alongside the sales team.
• Work in conjunction with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to build and convert the sales pipeline.
• Coordinate with engineering, data science, clinical, and regulatory experts to ensure product alignment with market demands.
• Manage key business metrics such as pipeline, bookings, retention, product adoption, and market share.
• Represent Galaxy externally to customers, at industry conferences, with analysts, KLAS, and in the press.
• Foster relationships with payer executives and medical directors.
• Represent Innovaccer in competitive assessments against payer vendors and payer-owned solutions.
• Transform customer discussions into actionable product and go-to-market insights to refine strategy.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, strategy, or general management.
• Proven success in launching new products or businesses into the market from inception, including strategy formulation, go-to-market planning, and securing initial customers.
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset akin to a founder-operator.
• Experience with P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to bring products from concept to market.
• History of consulting with payer clients on growth strategies and market entry.
• Skill in pitching, negotiating, and closing deals with senior executives.
• Fluency in payer domains such as risk adjustment, quality and Stars performance, utilization management, or value-based care economics, or the ability to quickly gain fluency.
• Experience in owning business outcomes, including pipeline, bookings, market share, product quality, and adoption.
• Proven track record in building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional executive presence and communication abilities.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and devise plans without a fully developed playbook.
• Experience selling to health plans or payers is preferred.
• Familiarity with competing against or collaborating with payer point vendors or payer-owned solutions is a plus.
• Experience scaling a health-tech or payer-tech business from early revenue stages to a sustainable, referenceable market position is advantageous.
• Direct P&L ownership experience at a startup or business unit, including responsibility for pricing and packaging decisions, is a plus.
• Knowledge of agentic AI or AI-native product architectures in healthcare is desirable.
