Head of Platform – Product Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead and enhance the technology delivery function by establishing robust PMO governance, reporting, and delivery practices.

• Supervise significant technology programs and implementations, which include case management systems, data platforms, HR, finance, and CRM solutions.

• Take ownership of and manage platform and product roadmaps for both internal systems and client-facing products.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to prioritize features and initiatives that align with business requirements, customer feedback, and strategic goals.

• Propel agile delivery methodologies across technology teams, identifying and addressing delivery risks and obstacles proactively.

• Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

• Oversee quality assurance, testing strategies, and release management processes for critical business platforms.

• Lead the delivery of technology solutions for clients, including customer portals, system integrations, automated workflows, and emerging AI-enabled products.

• Monitor and report on product, platform, and program performance, as well as the creation of business value.

• Convert strategic objectives into successful delivery results.

• Develop and advance the organization's technology platforms, product portfolio, and program governance capabilities.

• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in delivering large-scale technology programs, platforms, or products, including leadership roles in delivery-focused environments.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex technology implementations within regulated settings.

• Strong comprehension of program management, governance frameworks, and PMO best practices.

• Proven experience in establishing Product Management disciplines in a rapidly expanding organization.

• Experience leading high-performing delivery, project management, or product teams.

• Strong expertise in agile delivery methodologies.

• Experience working within both hybrid agile and waterfall frameworks.

• Ability to balance strategic planning with practical delivery execution.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.

• Experience in, or knowledge of, regulated industries and the factors contributing to successful technology delivery.

• Experience in implementing highly automated claims or case management platforms.

• Knowledge of data platforms, business intelligence, and AI product delivery.

• Relevant qualifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent.

• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives across multiple business functions.

• Familiarity with product management practices and customer-centered design approaches.
