This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the Manufacturing Informatics business strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.
• Create market propositions across MES, EBR, Manufacturing Intelligence, Digital Manufacturing, LIMS/ELN integration, OT/IT integration, and Industry 4.0.
• Identify target markets, accounts, partnerships, and emerging opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• Build and oversee the sales pipeline and revenue forecasts.
• Set targets for bookings, revenue, margins, and growth.
• Formulate go-to-market strategies for new services, solutions, and accelerators.
• Identify opportunities for geographic expansion and new customer segments.
• Establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors, system integrators, and manufacturing technology providers.
• Manage the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract closure.
• Cultivate relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
• Lead customer discovery sessions, account strategy development, RFP/RFI responses, proposals, presentations, solution workshops, and commercial negotiations.
• Create value propositions and business cases that demonstrate customer outcomes.
• Build strategic accounts and long-term managed service and transformation engagements.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, customer forums, and executive meetings.
• Provide thought leadership in areas such as MES, EBR, manufacturing transformation, integrations, OT/IT, serialization, digital manufacturing, data platforms, cloud architectures, and AI/ML applications.
• Link manufacturing requirements, technology strategy, regulatory obligations, and execution of implementations.
• Build and lead a high-performing Manufacturing Informatics organization.
• Develop organizational structures, competency models, career progression paths, and succession plans.
• Recruit and retain professionals in MES, EBR, manufacturing technology, solution architecture, and consulting.
• Mentor future leaders and technical subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Foster a culture that emphasizes customer value, innovation, accountability, quality, and commercial performance.
• Outline the innovation roadmap and create accelerators, frameworks, and intellectual property.
• Assess AI, automation, analytics, digital twins, cloud technologies, and intelligent manufacturing for business value, cybersecurity, GxP compliance, data integrity, and operational risk.
• Own or contribute to the Manufacturing Informatics Profit and Loss (P&L) statement.
• Establish and oversee financial utilization, profitability, operating plan, and budget targets.
• Monitor the pipeline, backlog, revenue forecasts, and resource demands.
• Drive improvements in gross margin and delivery efficiency.
• Evaluate investments based on return on investment (ROI).
• Provide regular updates on business performance to executive leadership.
• Achieve growth, profitability, customer, and operational key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue growth, bookings, pipeline coverage, new logos, account expansion, margin, EBITDA/contribution margin, delivery productivity, utilization, customer satisfaction/NPS, renewals, account penetration, executive relationships, and referenceable customers.
• Over 15 years of experience in Manufacturing Informatics, MES, Digital Manufacturing, Life Sciences IT, Manufacturing IT, or related consulting/service environments.
• Experience in working with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing organizations.
• Extensive experience in MES/EBR and manufacturing digital transformation.
• Proven success in business development and consultative selling.
• Experience managing large and complex manufacturing technology programs.
• Ability to cultivate and manage senior customer relationships.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams and global delivery models.
• Strongly preferred experience in financial management, forecasting, utilization, margins, and P&L/business-unit management.
• Experience with RFPs, proposals, solution architecture, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of GxP, CSV/CSA, data integrity, cybersecurity, and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proficient understanding of one or more systems including Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk / PharmaSuite, Körber Werum PAS-X, Emerson Syncade, MasterControl, SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP ERP, or Oracle Manufacturing.
