Head of Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume technical and strategic responsibility for the Infrastructure sector and continuously enhance it.

• Advise clients on the design, migration, and optimization of cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure.

• Act as a technical point of contact and plan as well as execute cloud migrations.

• Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure Azure architectures.

• Operate, monitor, and continuously optimize Azure services.

• Automate deployments and infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance requirements.

• Conduct technical training and workshops for clients and transfer knowledge internally.

• Lead and develop the Infrastructure team.

• Support in PreSales and collaborate closely with experts from various Microsoft areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed a degree in IT or a related field, or finished IT training – or acquired knowledge through other means.

• Proven extensive practical experience as an Azure Consultant (m/f/d).

• Solid understanding of Azure Core Services as well as Networking, Identity & Access Management, and Security.

• Experience with DevOps methodologies and automation of deployments and infrastructures.

• Proficient in using PowerShell and Azure CLI for administration and automation of Azure environments.

• Relevant experience in leading projects and teams.

• Strong sense of team dynamics and motivation.

• Communicative personality with a confident presence at decision-maker level.

• Independent and customer-oriented working style.

• Fluent in German and very good command of English.
