This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Develop strategic funding initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Funding & Liquidity Risk and the Treasurer.
β’ Lead the implementation of strategic funding initiatives.
β’ Execute transactions in debt and equity capital markets, which include long-term debt issuance and preferred equity.
β’ Oversee the share repurchase program.
β’ Calculate daily cash flow projections and ensure precision through assumptions, back-testing, and oversight.
β’ Quantify funding strategies within long-term cash flow projections in partnership with Asset/Liability Management.
β’ Work alongside line of business partners on new instant payment systems and set up funding and liquidity controls.
β’ Manage borrowing sources while ensuring sufficient contingent borrowing capacities.
β’ Optimize collateral in conjunction with Treasury Operations and the Investment Portfolio Team.
β’ Establish and uphold Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and early warning signs for funding risk.
β’ Prepare materials related to funding risk for Executive Management.
β’ Identify, evaluate, manage, monitor, and report on funding risks.
β’ Directly supervise and develop the Funding Risk team, including providing performance feedback, career advancement, talent planning, recognition, and rewards.
β’ Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Liquidity Risk, and line of business partners.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics is mandatory.
β’ Typically requires 10 or more years of experience related to Treasury in at least one functional area: Asset/Liability, Funding/Liquidity, or Investment Portfolio.
β’ Strong analytical, modeling, and database skills and experience are required.
β’ Experience in projecting both short- and long-term cash flows, along with overseeing and maintaining relevant assumptions.
β’ Ability to learn and achieve proficiency in analytical and database management tools.
β’ Experience in leading functional teams and projects is essential.
β’ Proven capability to independently manage multiple tasks and show initiative.
β’ Demonstrated excellence in critical thinking, leadership, business acumen, relationship building, and teamwork.
β’ Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
β’ Ability to operate both independently and within a team setting.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
