This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee company-wide financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes with a focus on audit-quality excellence.
• Develop and refine internal controls, policies, and procedures suitable for a private equity-backed setting.
• Manage board-level financial presentations, key performance indicators, and investor communications.
• Spearhead the financial components of post-merger integration, including the consolidation of systems, alignment of reporting, and standardization of processes.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions activities such as financial due diligence, purchase accounting, and planning for integration.
• Lead or assist in the implementation and optimization of ERP systems for scalable, service-oriented financial reporting.
• Oversee external audit processes and cultivate relationships with auditors and advisors.
• Manage the contract lifecycle for client and vendor agreements, encompassing drafting, redlining, negotiating Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and renewals; collaborate with outside legal counsel and maintain a centralized contract repository.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, capital allocation, and operational decision-making.
• Create and improve reporting templates and dashboards to enhance visibility into profitability, utilization, and cash flow.
• Coordinate with Superstep Capital on performance reporting, value creation, and various ad hoc initiatives that support the expanding platform.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting is required.
• Audit experience is essential.
• CPA designation is highly preferred.
• Experience in a private equity-backed setting is strongly preferred.
• Professional services experience is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ERP implementation and transformation of financial systems is necessary.
• Experience in supporting mergers and acquisitions and post-close integration is required.
• Experience in board or investor reporting is essential.
• Preference for candidates with experience in managing legal functions.
• Strong communication skills and sound judgment are needed to navigate a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally is required.
