Head of Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the finance team, consisting of 3–4 individuals, while cultivating a high-performance culture that aligns with the company's objectives.

• Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth goals and enhance operational efficiencies.

• Oversee the processes of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Perform in-depth financial analyses to facilitate informed decision-making and assist in strategic initiatives.

• Track key financial metrics and industry trends to proactively identify opportunities and potential risks.

• Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.

• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, banks, and investors.

• Establish financial controls and policies to protect company assets.

• Engage in executive-level strategy formulation and provide insights derived from financial data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; professional certifications like CPA, CFA, or ACCA are preferred.

• Prior experience at a Big Four firm or in investment banking.

• Over 8 years of experience in finance management roles, demonstrating a successful history of strategic financial leadership.

• Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and industry best practices.

• Outstanding analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex financial data effectively.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with prior experience in team management.

• Effective communication skills for presenting financial information to executive stakeholders.

• Proven ability to make sound financial decisions while maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.

• Fluency in both Russian and English.
