β’ Develop and implement an evidence-driven regional market strategy for ASEAN.
β’ Create and sustain growth maps, stakeholder maps, and strategic account plans for key institutions and ecosystem partners.
β’ Perform analysis on market, policy, regulatory, institutional, procurement, competitors, and buyers.
β’ Facilitate consultative discovery sessions with users and senior decision-makers.
β’ Convert decision problems into modeling and software use cases, outlining users, data, analytical requirements, success criteria, scope, and implementation pathways.
β’ Articulate modeling concepts, assumptions, scenarios, outputs, and limitations in language focused on decision-making.
β’ Lead or assist in product demonstrations, workshops, and solution discussions.
β’ Advance qualified opportunities through business cases, concept notes, action plans, funding or procurement processes, pilots, and adoption.
β’ Coordinate stakeholder implementation, including technical work, workflows, timelines, communications, training, and adoption.
β’ Craft market-facing narratives, value propositions, use case stories, briefs, proposals, presentations, case studies, and partner materials.
β’ Design and conduct roundtables, roadshows, conferences, workshops, and high-level meetings.
β’ Establish a network of local partners, advisors, and institutions to support implementation, referral, or co-delivery.
β’ Travel throughout Southeast Asia and work flexibly across customer and partner time zones.
β’ Capture market, relationship, opportunity, and implementation intelligence in HubSpot and shared systems.
β’ Provide validated user evidence and implementation insights to Product and technical teams.
β’ Report to and collaborate closely with the Head of Market Development while offering matrix leadership across cross-functional teams.
β’ A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in market development, strategic partnerships, solution consulting, product commercialization, or complex solution implementation, preferably in energy, power, infrastructure, analytics, or technology.
β’ Significant experience working in one or more Southeast Asian markets, with a thorough understanding of the region's energy sector institutions, stakeholder landscape, and commercial or funding dynamics.
β’ Proven track record of developing new markets, segments, or strategic accounts and advancing complex opportunities with multiple stakeholders and extended decision cycles.
β’ Experience in implementing complex software, data, analytics, modeling, or advisory solutions from discovery and scope definition to delivery, user enablement, and adoption.
β’ A working knowledge of power systems, electricity market, or infrastructure modeling and its application in planning, investment, policy, or operational decisions.
β’ Confidence in discussing inputs, assumptions, scenarios, outputs, validation, and limitations.
β’ Ability to translate technical capabilities and analytical outputs into decision-oriented use cases, implementation pathways, and value narratives.
β’ Strong analytical judgment and the ability to synthesize market, policy, institutional, customer, and competitor evidence into actionable recommendations.
β’ Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
β’ Capability to produce concept notes, proposals, presentations, executive briefs, case studies, and meeting outputs.
β’ Strong discipline in opportunity, account, and project planning.
β’ Effective utilization of CRM and shared documentation tools.
β’ Willingness to travel frequently across Southeast Asia and adapt to customer and partner time zones.
β’ Desirable: Direct experience with power system planning, electricity market simulation, or energy analytics software such as PLEXOS, PyPSA, OSeMOSYS, or similar tools.
β’ Desirable: Experience working with governments, utilities, system operators, development finance institutions, grant funders, public procurement, or multi-organization programs.
β’ Desirable: Academic or professional background in power systems, energy economics, energy policy, engineering, data analytics, or a related field.
β’ Desirable: Experience in developing value propositions, market-facing content, case studies, executive events, or thought leadership.
β’ Desirable: Experience in a startup, scale-up, or mission-driven organization.
β’ Desirable: Professional proficiency in one or more Southeast Asian languages.
