This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead and manage a team of around 8 employees, ensuring both functional and disciplinary oversight.
• Hold overall accountability for Change Control, Deviation Management, and CAPA processes.
• Guarantee that all changes and deviations are handled in a GMP-compliant, timely, and fully traceable manner.
• Strategically manage the allocation of tasks, prioritization, and resources.
• Act as the central point of contact for escalations and coordinate decision-making and resolution processes.
• Oversee management and quality assurance of root cause analyses.
• Define suitable corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor the implementation of CAPAs and evaluate their long-term effectiveness.
• Ensure comprehensive and compliant documentation that meets regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with both internal departments and external partners.
• Advance and harmonize existing quality processes in an international context.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and initiate sustainable optimization initiatives.
• Master’s degree, ideally in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Medicine, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• At least seven years of experience in both functional and disciplinary leadership roles.
• In-depth knowledge of Change Control, Deviation Management, and CAPA processes.
• Strong expertise in root cause analysis and in defining and assessing the effectiveness of corrective measures.
• Proficient in navigating regulatory requirements and GMP guidelines in a pharmaceutical setting.
• Experience in managing complex, cross-functional quality processes.
• Strong decision-making abilities and the capacity to handle quality-related escalations confidently.
• Strategic, methodical, and solution-oriented work style with a strong ability to implement plans.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a confident demeanor towards both internal and external stakeholders.
• Very good command of both German and English languages.
