This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee strategic operations for a global account or a collection of accounts focused on delivering AI training data programs for data collection.
β’ Lead a substantial operations team consisting of Senior Managers and their respective teams.
β’ Manage the overall financial aspects, including revenue, margins, pricing, forecasting, and change orders.
β’ Cultivate strategic relationships with key clients to enhance delivery performance and satisfaction.
β’ Collaborate as an equal partner with the Director of Quality and the Director of Engagement Management.
β’ Establish operating models, objectives, and investment priorities across accounts.
β’ Convert business strategies into actionable execution plans.
β’ Recruit, develop, and retain talent while establishing succession pipelines and leadership capabilities.
β’ Act as the executive sponsor for key clients and oversee governance and planning cycles.
β’ Align client roadmaps, priorities, and commercial agreements.
β’ Promote SOP standardization, the adoption of tools, and automation in collaboration with Ops Tech/Product.
β’ Define metrics at the portfolio level, assess performance, and transform data into actionable insights.
β’ Develop capacity plans across various sites and vendors; manage vendor combinations, SLAs, and performance enhancements or transitions.
β’ Oversee operational risk management and ensure readiness for audits while adhering to privacy, data handling, and security policies.
β’ Coordinate Operations, Quality, Engagement/Account, Finance, Vendor Management, and Tech to achieve client and business objectives.
β’ Provide strategic guidance, establish standards, and create operating rhythms across multiple teams and vendors.
β’ Make medium- to long-term decisions that significantly impact the business.
β’ Directly manage Senior Managers and senior individual contributors, influencing Quality, Engagement, Tech, and Vendor organizations.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, operations, data/engineering, or a related field.
β’ Over 8 years of experience in large-scale operations or program delivery, including AI data, content review, labeling/annotation, or similar areas.
β’ At least 6 years of senior operations leadership experience managing managers and multi-team portfolios.
β’ Demonstrated financial ownership, including budgeting, forecasting, and pricing/margins.
β’ Proven experience in executive client partnership.
β’ Governance experience in portfolio and program management across global accounts.
β’ Strong skills in executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
β’ Expertise in organization design, talent strategy, and performance management for multi-level teams.
β’ Proficient in spreadsheets, project management platforms, and business intelligence dashboards.
β’ Quality and compliance-oriented mindset with practical knowledge of SOPs, QA gates, and acceptance criteria.
β’ Strategic judgment concerning scope, time, cost, and quality, with the ability to make and communicate trade-offs.
β’ Comfortable working across time zones with globally distributed teams.
β’ Advanced proficiency in English.
β’ Familiarity with SQL/ETL concepts is advantageous.
