This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead and nurture a team of 4-5 professionals specializing in corporate events.
• Establish objectives, offer coaching, and foster a robust team culture.
• Oversee the comprehensive planning and execution of CriblCon, the annual Company Kickoff, and the annual President's Club.
• Formulate strategy and manage the execution of a global tradeshow calendar consisting of 12-14 shows each year.
• Ensure a consistent brand presence, executive engagement, and impactful pipeline outcomes.
• Manage and oversee a multi-million dollar events budget in collaboration with Corporate Marketing and Finance.
• Plan, forecast, and report on budget performance metrics.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to plan and execute high-visibility events.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with Communications, Brand & Creative, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, ProdEng, and Sales.
• Establish and refine event strategies, processes, and playbooks.
• Manage relationships with vendors and agencies, including contract negotiations.
• Define and report on event success metrics such as attendance, pipeline/revenue influence, employee engagement, and budget performance.
• Represent the events function in discussions among cross-functional marketing leadership.
• Provide proactive planning and risk management.
• 8-10+ years of experience in corporate events, field marketing, or event marketing.
• Demonstrated success in leading global tradeshow programs and flagship company events.
• 3+ years of experience in directly managing and developing a team.
• Experience in overseeing and managing multi-million dollar budgets.
• Familiarity with forecasting and cross-functional reporting in collaboration with Finance.
• Ability to effectively engage with senior executives in high-visibility, high-pressure situations.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Sales, and Executive stakeholders.
• Experience in planning and executing large-scale user conferences, internal company events, and incentive/recognition trip programs is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational, negotiation, and vendor management abilities.
• Willingness to travel to most of Cribl's global events, with approximately 40% travel required.
