Head of Corporate Development

📋 Description

• Assess and implement acquisitions or investments in complementary technologies, focusing on compute infrastructure, specialized AI capabilities, and regulatory compliance tools.

• Lead due diligence efforts alongside cross-functional teams to evaluate the feasibility of technical integration and ensure strategic alignment.

• Oversee post-merger integration processes to optimize value realization and revenue synergies.

• Facilitate entry into new verticals and geographic markets through collaborations with industry leaders and government stakeholders.

• Formulate market-entry strategies that address regulatory requirements and sovereignty issues.

• Develop partnership frameworks designed for rapid scaling in high-growth sectors.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create joint go-to-market strategies that promote adoption and drive revenue growth.

• Work in conjunction with product, engineering, and legal teams to align deals with technical capabilities, ethical AI standards, and regulatory obligations.

• Partner with finance to create financial models and valuation frameworks for partnership and M&A opportunities.

• Collaborate with government relations and policy teams to navigate regulatory landscapes and establish government partnerships.

• Identify and negotiate transformative alliances with telecommunications companies, hardware infrastructure providers, cloud platforms, and government entities.

• Develop partnerships that facilitate on-premise and edge deployment for data sovereignty and regulatory compliance.

• Leverage relationships with enterprise software vendors and data platforms to enhance North’s enterprise-grade AI offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in corporate development, strategic partnerships, or investment banking within a technology company.

• Proven track record in AI, SaaS, or enterprise software.

• Demonstrated success in closing partnerships and M&A transactions that resulted in significant revenue growth or strategic market access.

• Experience with sovereign AI deployments, regulatory compliance (e.g., CTA, export controls), and government partnerships.

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to structure deals involving complex, multi-stakeholder agreements.

• Extensive network within AI and enterprise tech ecosystems, including telecommunications, hardware providers, and government entities.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, market sizing, and valuation analysis.

• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• In-depth understanding of the current AI regulatory landscape and compliance requirements.

• Experience executing M&A transactions that integrate complementary technologies and accelerate growth.

• Proven history of building and scaling strategic partnerships with measurable revenue impact and market expansion.

• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and secure partnerships with government and enterprise entities.

• Experience in a leadership role at an investment bank.

• Authorization to work in the country of residence.
