Head of Business Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic operational ally to the founders, facilitating collaboration across their varying priorities, working styles, and areas of responsibility.

• Oversee and coordinate numerous senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment, clear accountability, and consistent follow-up on initiatives.

• Take ownership of and manage RunMonsterRun production schedules, including milestones, dependencies, priorities, risks, and deliverables.

• Foster accountability and follow-through among creative, production, operations, leadership, and external partners.

• Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks before they affect delivery timelines.

• Provide visibility on project status, production milestones, risks, dependencies, and upcoming priorities.

• Safeguard the founders' time by coordinating meetings, managing priorities, organizing information, and minimizing operational overhead.

• Enhance communication and alignment between creative, production, operations, leadership, and external partners.

• Develop and refine documentation, workflows, operating procedures, and project management systems.

• Investigate, assess, and assist in executing new growth opportunities for RunMonsterRun, including partnerships, products, distribution channels, monetization initiatives, and other strategic business ventures.

• Step into uncertain situations, discern necessary actions, and independently propel initiatives forward.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Operations, Project Management, Producer, Chief of Staff, Production Management, Operations Leadership, or related roles.

• Demonstrated experience in coordinating complex cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple senior stakeholders or executives.

• Experience in managing production timelines and workflows, preferably within media, entertainment, creative, or another fast-paced production sector.

• Outstanding organizational and prioritization abilities, capable of managing multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of driving initiatives from conception to execution.

• Excellent business judgment, with the ability to identify opportunities, evaluate priorities, and convert ideas into actionable plans.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.

• Comfortable working in dynamic startup environments with shifting priorities and uncertainty.

• Highly proactive, resourceful, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated.

• Proven ability to lead through influence rather than formal authority.

• Strong capacity to manage upward, maintain alignment among senior stakeholders, and ensure accountability and follow-up.

• Proficient in documentation and operational process enhancement.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Notion, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
