Business Process Lead, Finance – Corporate Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and consistently update comprehensive L2/L3 capability breakdowns for Record to Report, Direct Tax and Tax Compliance, Procure to Pay, Supply Chain Operations, hardware fulfillment, Hire to Retire, and Sales Compensation Management.

• Lead collaborative sessions with Finance, HR, Procurement, and Supply Chain stakeholders to capture existing processes and design future-state workflows.

• Create process maps, document decisions, and establish actionable technical requirements.

• Convert future-state process designs into system requirements, collaborating with Product Owners and Engineering Leads throughout design, development, and testing phases.

• Provide support for current production systems and next-generation platform delivery initiatives.

• Incorporate operational insights into documentation and future-state designs.

• Manage change initiatives, including enablement, adoption, readiness planning, training material creation, and post-launch verification.

• Define and communicate process performance metrics.

• Keep documented agreements updated at shared boundaries with fellow Business Process Leads.

• Take charge of capability design for sales compensation, hardware fulfillment, and Hire to Retire while collaborating with the teams responsible for executing those functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in designing or enhancing month-end close and record-to-report processes within a multi-entity ERP setup.

• Over 5 years of experience in business process design, business analysis, business architecture, or operations in a related field.

• Proven track record in breaking down business capabilities into detailed, multi-tiered structures.

• Excellent facilitation abilities with cross-functional business stakeholders, including experience working at the Controller or Finance Director level.

• Ability to translate business process requirements into system requirements for technical delivery teams, along with solid documentation practices.

• Preferred: Experience in physical fulfillment and supply chain process design, covering areas such as warehouse management, inventory, returns processing, and warranty management.

• Preferred: Background in sales compensation process design, including plan administration, crediting, attainment, dispute resolution, and commission accounting.

• Preferred: Expertise in procure-to-pay process design, including intake, approval routing, supplier onboarding, and three-way match controls.

• Preferred: Knowledge of direct tax processes and statutory reporting in a multi-jurisdictional context.

• Preferred: Experience in HR operations process design, focusing on onboarding, self-service, helpdesk operations, and performance cycle management.

• Preferred: Understanding of treasury and cash management process design.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Oracle accounting, inventory, and accounts payable modules; NetSuite; Oracle EPM; FloQast; and CaptivateIQ.
