Head of AI Expansion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Drive the global adoption of QVAC and Tether AI within enterprises, institutions, and government entities.

• Identify organizations where local, private, decentralized, or sovereign AI presents a strategic advantage.

• Align use cases with organizational requirements and develop business cases for implementation.

• Cultivate existing relationships and establish new connections with CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, AI leaders, and government stakeholders.

• Initiate, structure, negotiate, and finalize strategic AI partnerships and deployments.

• Develop alliances across computing, hardware, infrastructure, and technology providers.

• Monitor partnership performance, identify potential risks, and create mitigation strategies.

• Define and implement Tether AI’s global go-to-market strategy.

• Identify priority markets, sectors, and high-value AI use cases.

• Collaborate with clients to co-develop requirements and translate them into deployable solutions with product and engineering teams.

• Build and oversee a global pipeline of strategic AI opportunities.

• Monitor developments in the market, competition, regulations, and technology.

• Build and lead the global AI Expansion team.

• Recruit expansion managers, partnership leads, solution architects, and other essential roles.

• Establish KPIs, execution playbooks, and commercial processes.

• Collaborate with Tether’s AI, engineering, product, and regional Expansion teams.

• Represent Tether AI in strategic meetings, government interactions, conferences, and industry forums.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in AI, enterprise technology, infrastructure, or business development in technology.

• Strong understanding of AI/ML, LLMs, inference, local/edge computing, data infrastructure, and decentralized architectures.

• Proven track record of personally originating, structuring, and closing substantial enterprise technology deals and partnerships.

• Strong connections with senior decision-makers within enterprises, technology companies, and/or government agencies.

• Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship building.

• Experience in building and managing high-performing teams.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to function independently in fast-paced environments.

• Degree in AI, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Ability to work across various geographies and cultures.

• Willingness and capability to undertake international travel.
