HCM Test Automation, Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and manage detailed testing strategies and plans for Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.

• Develop and sustain automated testing suites utilizing OATS, Selenium, or similar tools.

• Conduct parallel payroll validation testing against outputs from legacy systems.

• Execute Section 508 accessibility testing in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with agency stakeholders, encompassing scenario development, tester training, defect triage, and tracking of sign-offs.

• Design and carry out performance and load testing initiatives.

• Establish defect management workflows using JIRA or comparable tools.

• Test integration interfaces with federal systems such as EHRI, eOPF, USA Staffing, payroll providers, Employee Express, and MyPay.

• Confirm Oracle quarterly update deployments through targeted regression suites.

• Engage in SAFe Agile ceremonies and promote continuous testing enhancements.

• Create and uphold test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and execution summary reports.

• Address moderate functional and technical challenges, contribute to knowledge repositories, and consult with senior personnel.

• Report progress, technical methods, and quality status to project stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• US citizenship is required.

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software QA, test engineering, or test automation for enterprise applications.

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience with Selenium, OATS, Tricentis Tosca, or similar tools.

• Experience in functional, integration, regression, and performance testing for cloud-based enterprise applications.

• Proficient with JIRA, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps Test Plans.

• Strong comprehension of SAFe Agile continuous testing methodologies, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and shift-left practices.

• Experience in coordinating UAT efforts with business stakeholders.

• Exceptional analytical and communication abilities.

• Desired: 6+ years of testing experience in at least one large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM or Oracle ERP Cloud implementation.

• Desired: ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level certification.

• Desired: Experience with JMeter, Gatling, or Oracle Load Testing.

• Desired: Section 508 accessibility testing using tools like ANDI, axe, or JAWS.

• Desired: Familiarity with federal HR business processes, including payroll, benefits administration, and personnel action workflows.

• Desired: Experience with parallel payroll validation techniques and automated payroll comparison testing.

• Desired: Scripting abilities in Python, JavaScript, or Groovy.

• Desired: Experience with Oracle Cloud technologies like OIC or OCI.
