This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee functional solution architecture for Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, discovery workshops, and sessions for business process design.
• Convert business requirements into scalable Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.
• Create solution designs that align with business objectives, Oracle best practices, and project scope.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for questions related to functional design and architectural choices.
• Evaluate impacts across modules to ensure a cohesive end-to-end solution design.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integration, reporting, and data conversion requirements.
• Lead functional workstreams throughout the entire implementation lifecycle.
• Guide consultants and client teams through the processes of design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct solution walkthroughs, design reviews, and sessions for stakeholder decision-making.
• Work alongside Project Managers to identify risks, manage dependencies, and support project execution.
• Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to approved solution designs.
• Define and supervise the testing strategy; review test scenarios, scripts, and results.
• Support testing events, readiness for deployment, production deployment, and stabilization post-go-live.
• Mentor consultants and analysts on solution design, requirements management, and Oracle HCM leading practices.
• Promote consistency in delivery standards and the quality of documentation.
• Share insights from implementation lessons learned and best practices.
• Assist in sales and business development as a subject matter expert.
• Contribute to discovery sessions, solution discussions, proposals, estimates, and statements of work.
• Participate in client demonstrations and solution presentations.
• Advise client executives and HR leadership on solution direction, phasing, scope, and organizational readiness.
• Lead solution discovery and shape proposed approaches for potential pursuits.
• Represent ArcLight as a subject-matter expert in industry forums, client briefings, and thought leadership content.
• Counsel internal leadership on delivery risk, solution standards, and Oracle HCM roadmap investments.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud implementation, with functional expertise across various modules.
• Demonstrated experience in leading functional design, configuration, and testing for large-scale HCM implementations.
• Strong comprehension of comprehensive HR business processes.
• Proven capability to lead workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into functional solutions.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and drive results with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communication, or a related field.
• Experience with global, multi-country, or complex enterprise HCM deployments.
• Background in mentoring junior consultants or leading teams.
• Experience in executing implementation strategy, capturing customer and systems requirements, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing effective business solutions.
• Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and establish credibility as a trusted advisor beyond a single project.
• Ability to collaborate with functional and technical team members to document requirements, create functional design strategies, and facilitate testing for technical integration.
• Willingness to travel within the United States up to 25% for client on-site needs.
• Preferred: Oracle HCM Cloud functional certifications across multiple modules.
• Preferred: Experience in client-facing advisory or presales roles.
• Preferred: Familiarity with cross-module dependencies and upstream/downstream impacts.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
