Harbor Management – Coastal Planning Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Conduct inventory assessments of harbor uses, moorings, facilities, and navigation areas.

• Update harbor management plans in alignment with state coastal regulations.

• Support engagement efforts with harbor commission and stakeholders.

• Propose policies concerning access, resilience, and water-dependent activities.

• Provide qualifications and past-performance narratives for AlphaGov proposals when authorized to do so.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in harbor, waterfront, or coastal planning.

• Proven experience in preparing harbor management or coastal plans.

• Comfortable working as a 1099 project-based consultant.
