This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.
• Design, update, and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire projects.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.
• Verify Guidewire configurations, product model modifications, workflow logic, and integration points against acceptance criteria.
• Work in partnership with Guidewire business analysts and developers to ensure requirements are testable and that defects are actionable.
• Document, track, and communicate defects throughout the entire defect lifecycle using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Assist in user acceptance testing by coordinating with business stakeholders, setting up test environments, and facilitating sign-off processes.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives, including the development and maintenance of automated test scripts within Guidewire environments.
• Confirm data integrity, system integrations, and end-to-end workflows across Guidewire and associated third-party systems.
• Evaluate and communicate quality risks to project and engagement leaders.
• Participate in QA process enhancements, Guidewire-specific testing standards, templates, and best practices.
• Provide testing and quality assurance support across intricate insurance transformation projects for global clients.
• Over 5 years of quality assurance or software testing experience in a professional delivery setting.
• Practical experience testing within at least one Guidewire product: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
• Capability to design and implement test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Experience testing across UI, API, integration, and data layers within complex multi-system environments.
• Proficient with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect tracking and project management tools.
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate defects and their business implications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Guidewire certification at the Associate or Professional level is preferred.
• Experience with multiple Guidewire products is preferred.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform release cycles and cloud-specific testing.
• Experience testing Guidewire integrations with third-party data vendors, payment processors, and document management systems is preferred.
• Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools is preferred.
• API testing and validation experience using Postman or SoapUI is preferred.
• Understanding of data validation, migration testing, or ETL testing in insurance or financial services contexts is preferred.
• Familiarity with JMeter or LoadRunner is preferred.
• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification, or an equivalent QA credential is preferred.
• Certification support for candidates pursuing their first or next Guidewire credential.
