This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Take charge of Starlink’s strategy and execution for consumer subscriber growth in the US Northeast, ensuring regional growth objectives are met.
• Act as the local market representative for Starlink, overseeing awareness, acquisition, partnerships, and overall performance.
• Implement business development strategies to enhance Starlink’s consumer footprint.
• Identify, assess, and establish customer acquisition channels through internet service providers, affiliates, utilities, retailers, installers, real estate partners, community organizations, and local governments.
• Manage deal execution from the identification of opportunities to the establishment of commercial agreements and partner launches.
• Represent Starlink in negotiations with potential commercial partners and community stakeholders.
• Lead local marketing and awareness efforts, including field marketing, community events, trade shows, retail activations, and grassroots campaigns.
• Enhance Starlink’s brand visibility and presence across the region.
• Analyze customer and partner feedback to inform product offerings, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
• Monitor and report on subscriber acquisition performance, partner productivity, and the ROI of campaigns or growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, product, marketing, operations, engineering, and finance teams to develop scalable growth programs.
• Design and implement pilots and growth experiments to discover effective acquisition channels.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, growth, sales, marketing, consulting, or operations.
• In-depth understanding of consumer purchasing behavior in the region, especially in rural areas.
• Experience with consumer technology, telecommunications, broadband services, utilities, or subscription models.
• Proven track record in building and scaling local or regional partnerships and distribution networks.
• Background in managing local marketing, field marketing, or community growth efforts.
• Prior experience in launching and growing products within the region.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects from start to finish and achieve measurable growth outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to track funnel metrics, conversion rates, and ROI.
• Capability to work autonomously in the field.
• Availability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% or more of the time to customer locations and other SpaceX sites.
• Must meet ITAR requirements: be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or qualify for necessary U.S. Department of State authorizations.
