Growth Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee growth marketing efforts for The Cycle’s e-commerce operations

• Manage Amazon and Shopify storefronts, including listings, conversion rates, subscriptions, and customer retention

• Design and execute paid acquisition experiments utilizing Amazon Advertising, Meta, and Google platforms

• Establish tracking, attribution, server-side tagging, and reliable company dashboards

• Develop AI-agent workflows for reporting, creative testing, competitor analysis, and campaign management

• Create email/SMS lifecycle flows and subscription strategies aimed at enhancing retention

• Integrate Shopify, Amazon, CRM/lifecycle tools, and the data hub for seamless operations

• Collaborate directly with the founder while taking ownership of the online growth infrastructure

• Analyze funnels, formulate hypotheses, implement experiments, assess outcomes, and iterate on a weekly basis

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong engineering background in software, data, or automation

• Proficient in coding and system-building

• Comfortable working with APIs, scripting, and performing SQL/Python-level analysis

• Practical experience in martech or growth engineering

• Familiarity with tracking implementations like GA4, server-side GTM, and conversion APIs

• Experience with CRM and data integration processes

• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms

• Daily proficiency with AI agents and automation tools

• Proven experience in building automations with LLMs and agent workflows

• Capable of analyzing funnels and designing effective experiments

• Fluent in professional English

• Available for full-time and exclusive engagement

• Must have substantial working-hours overlap with US Pacific Time

• Strongly preferred: Experience with Amazon marketplace, DTC subscription e-commerce, CPG brands, or practical paid media knowledge
