This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Facilitate evidence-based groups throughout the program curriculum, which includes CBT-E, exposure therapy, DBT, MED-DBT, ACT, and general CBT content.
β’ Deliver curriculum content with fidelity, while making necessary adaptations to interventions, pacing, and examples based on group composition, acuity, and co-occurring presentations.
β’ Identify and address co-occurring OCD, trauma, and mood presentations within groups and during eating blocks.
β’ Utilize ERP, DBT, ACT, and behavioral activation strategies when co-occurring symptoms emerge.
β’ Foster therapeutic group relationships that encourage positive changes in patients.
β’ Offer therapeutic support during supported meals and snacks, which includes direct observation, coaching, and post-meal assistance.
β’ Recognize and respond to eating disorder behaviors, rituals, and accommodation-seeking actions.
β’ Assist distressed patients during and after eating blocks using skills consistent with the program.
β’ Communicate clinical observations to the treatment team during daily rounds and as necessary.
β’ Contribute group-based insights to case formulation.
β’ Document group participation and clinical observations in the electronic medical record.
β’ Engage in program training, fidelity monitoring, supervision, and consultation.
β’ Provide feedback on the curriculum to program leadership.
β’ Perform other assigned duties.
β’ Psychologist or master's level therapist (required).
β’ Must hold or be eligible to obtain a master's level provisional or independent clinical license in the state of Illinois.
β’ At least 1 year of post-Master's clinical experience or a relevant Master's level internship.
β’ Experience in treating eating disorders (strongly preferred).
β’ Experience in treating OCD, anxiety, PTSD, and/or depression (preferred).
β’ Experience in a PHP, IOP, residential, or inpatient setting (preferred).
β’ Experience dealing with patients in crisis.
β’ Strong enthusiasm for working in high-acuity environments.
β’ Core competencies in CBT and DBT.
β’ Familiarity with eating disorder treatment and co-occurring conditions.
β’ Ability to implement interventions that address the maintaining mechanisms of disorders.
β’ Capacity to tolerate patient distress without accommodating or reassuring.
β’ Practices from a weight-inclusive perspective.
β’ Embraces an βAll foods fitβ approach to clinical nutrition.
β’ Capable of working within established curriculum and fidelity expectations.
β’ Willingness to seek and utilize supervision and consultation.
