Group Manager – Procurement Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Oversee the closure, controllership, audits, accounting, and financial reporting for the Turkey Market.

• Prepare both standalone and consolidated year-end financial statements in accordance with IFRS / Local GAAP.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders, the Local Finance team, and auditors to secure audited financial statements.

• Liaise with auditors, finance, and business teams to address audit inquiries.

• Ensure the timely completion of statutory and tax audits.

• Manage accounting and reporting for various entities.

• Review monthly and quarterly profit & loss statements and balance sheet accounting and reporting.

• Prepare and submit balance sheet schedules.

• Generate timely business reports with precise variance explanations.

• Assist in the timely filing of tax returns, indirect tax submissions, transfer pricing reports, and segment profit & loss statements.

• Engage in the liquidation of legal entities.

• Contribute to new initiatives and projects aimed at process enhancement and automation.

• Monitor open payables and manage open item processes.

• Foster stakeholder relationships and cultivate effective working connections with business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Chartered accountant qualification.

• At least 5 years of experience in a multinational organization with global reporting responsibilities.

• Proficient in financial reporting, accounting, audits, book closing, and controllership reporting.

• In-depth knowledge of IFRS / Local GAAP.

• Strong understanding of Turkish GAAP and tax legislation.

• Familiarity with SAP software.

• Advanced skills in MS Excel.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Proficiency in both Turkish and English languages.

• Experience in a Big4 or a similarly large accounting firm is preferred.
