Group Copy Supervisor – Pharma, Oncology Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Take charge of concept and copy creation across a variety of projects, regardless of complexity and scope.

• Actively engage with the creative team to generate innovative ideas.

• Manage multiple tasks and delegate responsibilities to ensure smooth project execution.

• Act as a bridge between the creative team and senior account team members.

• Present advanced presentations and advocate for the work externally.

• Ensure that all work aligns with strategic, business, and creative objectives.

• Offer mentorship, guidance, and support to the copy team to foster career growth.

• Show a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through ongoing development, inclusive practices, and proactive bias management.

• Carry out any other assigned duties as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education combined with professional experience is required.

• A minimum of 8 years of writing experience in marketing, advertising, or a related domain is essential.

• Significant experience in pharmaceutical HCP writing is necessary.

• Experience in oncology is considered a plus.

• Demonstrated examples of branded or unbranded HCP materials that effectively convey key marketing messages and scientific content through storytelling.

• Proficiency in extracting relevant information from clinical sources and producing medically accurate copy.

• Experience managing complex projects that involve both internal and external account and creative teams.

• Confidence in client interactions that promotes dialogue, sells creative ideas, and builds strong agency-client relationships.
