This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
β’ Oversee copy development for intricate Market Access brands
β’ Create clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to various market access audiences, channels, and formats
β’ Convert clinical data, health economics, payer strategies, reimbursement issues, and access barriers into communications relevant to the audience
β’ Design value narratives, payer messaging platforms, access toolkits, field resources, objection handlers, and materials to support launches
β’ Generate communications for commercial and government payers, PBMs, GPOs, IDNs, health systems, specialty pharmacies, hubs, patient support services, and field access teams
β’ Consistently apply brand strategy, messaging, tone, and voice
β’ Collaborate with Strategy, Account, Medical, Market Access, Art, UX, and Client teams from initial brief through to execution
β’ Deepen understanding of assigned brands, scientific background, competitive landscape, payer environment, access challenges, and customer needs
β’ Ensure all work is accurate, well-crafted, strategically aligned, and suitable for medical, legal, and regulatory review
β’ Forecast messaging challenges while balancing creative aspirations with evidence, regulatory considerations, client objectives, timelines, and scope
β’ Lead internal and client discussions regarding copy and creative recommendations
β’ Cultivate trusted client relationships and provide thoughtful responses to feedback
β’ Assist in managing creative workflows, resource requirements, challenges, and quality across multiple assignments
β’ Contribute innovative ideas that enhance work and convey brand value
β’ Remain informed about current market access trends, payer dynamics, communication channels, tools, and technologies
β’ A minimum of 6 years of copywriting experience in a pharmaceutical advertising agency or a closely related agency setting, with substantial experience in Market Access
β’ Proven experience in developing communications focused on Market Access or payers
β’ Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical agency workflows, including medical, legal, and regulatory review processes
β’ A portfolio demonstrating strong writing abilities, strategic thought, and the capacity to clearly communicate complex healthcare information
β’ Experience in creating payer value propositions, messaging platforms, access toolkits, launch materials, field access resources, pull-through assets, and related communications
β’ Ability to convert clinical, economic, and access strategies into clear and persuasive communications
β’ Strong comprehension of market access, encompassing payer decision-making, value communication, formulary strategies, coverage policies, reimbursement pathways, and access hurdles
β’ Capability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
β’ Proficiency in managing multiple client projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
β’ Excellent command of the English language
β’ Strong attention to accuracy, consistency, and detail
