This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Collaborate with various business units to ensure timely and precise financial deliverables for quarter and year-end
• Improve reporting practices and spearhead the implementation of standardized reporting
• Assist with both internal and external audits, as well as annual statutory filings
• Guarantee accurate documentation of revenues, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and reserves in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
• Review and support accounting analyses for significant transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and revenue recognition
• Aid in business-unit reorganizations by implementing necessary process, control, and operational modifications
• Design and conduct financial acumen training programs
• Review account reconciliations and assess the control environment
• Strengthen internal controls to align with risk management objectives
• Oversee financial integration projects for newly acquired business units
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, variance analyses, and key operating ratios
• Manage and optimize accounting information systems
• Provide insights to leadership to facilitate data-driven decision-making
• Foster collaborative relationships across the organization
• Offer training and development opportunities for finance team members
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• Over 10 years of experience in accounting or finance
• A minimum of 2 years in a management role is preferred
• CPA or an equivalent accounting certification or qualification is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience with Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting is preferred
• Strong understanding of internal controls and accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP)
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Exemplary personal ethics and integrity, with a strong commitment to confidentiality
• Demonstrated ability to enhance processes and systems for greater efficiency and productivity
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
