Junior Financial Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist the Financial Controller in overseeing the financial operations of designated foreign subsidiaries.

• Maintain regular communication with local finance personnel and external accounting firms, escalating any issues to the Financial Controller.

• Aid in the preparation of financial data for consolidation, reporting, and management purposes.

• Create financial analyses, reports, and forecasts under the supervision of the Financial Controller.

• Collect reporting-relevant data from designated sources and ensure its accuracy and completeness.

• Assist in the monitoring of accounts receivable and assessing credit risk.

• Contribute to cash flow forecasting and payment management.

• Help document controlling processes and financial procedures within the Capital Group.

• Collaborate with the central finance team, various business departments, and profit center managers.

• Enhance financial processes.

• Support ad hoc tasks as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in finance, controlling, accounting, or auditing.

• Fundamental knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles.

• Good grasp of financial reporting standards.

• Proficiency in office applications, particularly Google Sheets/Excel.

• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, a team player who is eager to learn, open to feedback, and able to work under pressure with deadlines.

• Fluent in English.

• Nice to have: working knowledge of IFRS.

• Nice to have: basic understanding of tax law.

• Nice to have: experience in a shared service organization or within a multinational group structure.
