GRC Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Execute and oversee third-party risk evaluations, which include initial due diligence and continuous vendor oversight.

• Work in partnership with internal teams to develop and uphold security policies, standards, and procedures.

• Aid in risk analysis to identify, assess, and monitor organizational risks.

• Facilitate the annual SOC2 audit by collecting evidence, liaising with stakeholders, and tracking findings.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the GRC program in line with business objectives.

• Foster security and risk awareness through effective communication and teamwork.

• Utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to automate repetitive tasks, recognize patterns, and enhance GRC process efficiency.

• Perform internal audits of systems and processes.

• Tackle ambiguous or unfamiliar issues, seek clarifying questions, and enhance problem-solving skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

• 1–2+ years of experience in a GRC, risk, or compliance position.

• Knowledge of third-party/vendor risk management procedures, including conducting due diligence and assessments.

• Experience in developing or managing policies, standards, and procedures.

• Comprehension of risk assessment methodologies and the capability to identify and evaluate risks.

• Background in supporting compliance audits, such as SOC2, via evidence collection and team coordination.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Familiarity with AI and its business applications (preferred).

• Strong understanding of AWS or other cloud infrastructures (preferred).

• Eligibility to work for any employer in Canada.
