Graphic Design Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Supervise the Graphic Design team at ONC

• Assign tasks to team leads and interns according to their strengths and skill sets

• Offer guidance and support to team leads and interns

• Organize and prioritize design projects to ensure timely completion

• Provide creative direction and constructive feedback to interns

• Guide the development of design concepts that align with brand guidelines and mission

• Review and approve design work for visual appeal, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards

• Conduct regular design critiques to foster improvement and consistency

• Communicate with other ONC team members via Slack, Email, and Zoom

• Facilitate weekly Graphic Design Team meetings

⛳️ Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Visual/Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related fields

• Effective, consistent, and responsive communicator, even in conflict situations

• Self-motivated individual willing to take initiative and complete tasks

• Capability to work remotely and manage their own schedule to meet deadlines

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite

• Experience with Canva is preferred

• Familiarity with Google Workspace is preferred

• Availability to attend Organization-Wide meetings every other week

• Ability to lead weekly Graphic Design Team meetings

• Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.

• Submission of a one-page Cover Letter with the application

• Commitment to a 6-month agreement for the internship program
