Grants Payments Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assist in developing and managing a forecasting model for needs beyond Medidata Payments.

• Create forecasting processes and integrate them with the forecasts for Medidata Payments.

• Collect current site enrollment and patient enrollment data.

• Collaborate with Revenue Recognition, Clinical Payments, Investigator Grants Payments, Project Analyst, Central Planning, and Clinical Operations teams.

• Ensure compliance with financial audit requirements.

• Produce client-ready forecast deliverables.

• Conduct forecast analysis, including comparisons of planned versus actuals and overall budget requirements.

• Inform stakeholders of any variances in over-forecast or under-forecast scenarios.

• Assist with year-end and interim audit processes.

• Support the Clinical Operations workflow.

• Keep updated with local and global revenue regulations.

• Guarantee accurate and timely reporting for clients.

• Execute final study closeout reconciliation and deliver client-ready reports.

• Ability to influence and challenge when necessary.

• Understanding of the site payment process.

• Familiarity with accounting and revenue recognition standards.

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Proficient in Excel, databases, and accounting systems.

• Degree educated.

• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in finance.
