Grant Writer – Research Executive

📋 Description

• Create high-quality funding proposals for charitable and not-for-profit organizations.

• Draft clear, engaging, and well-structured grant applications.

• Utilize client information, project documentation, and funder requirements.

• Edit and proofread application drafts.

• Ensure submissions meet funder inquiries and eligibility standards.

• Prepare and submit finalized applications via online funding platforms.

• Manage multiple applications and deadlines concurrently.

• Research and identify relevant grants and funding programs.

• Evaluate funding opportunities based on eligibility and suitability criteria.

• Align appropriate opportunities with organizations and projects.

• Maintain a continuous pipeline of potential funding prospects.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance funding research, funder and program analysis, opportunity matching, drafting, editing, quality assurance, and workflow enhancements.

• Offer suggestions to streamline research and opportunity-matching processes.

• Research, write, review, and submit precise, high-quality applications punctually.

• Contribute to the enhancement of systems and processes within the function.

• Outstanding professional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.

• Ideally possess experience in grant writing, bid writing, proposal writing, fundraising, or a similar field.

• Strong research skills, including the capacity to quickly assess and interpret funding opportunities.

• Proficient in understanding detailed guidelines and converting complex information into clear, persuasive written applications.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Highly organized and adept at managing competing deadlines.

• Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote setting.

• Confidence in learning and utilizing new technologies.

• Experience with AI tools or a willingness to develop practical AI skills.

• Interest in process improvement and discovering more efficient work methods.
