This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for assigned Method Statements and Quality submissions, ensuring the content is precise, engaging, and in accordance with client specifications and bid requirements.

• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager throughout the bid lifecycle to formulate, draft, and coordinate Quality submissions, while adhering to deadlines and milestones.

• Develop and maintain compliance matrices to monitor written submissions, client requirements, and any existing gaps.

• Generate internal bid reports and documentation, which include progress updates, sign-off and approval papers, and submissions for the Investment Committee and Group Board.

• Cultivate relationships across Fleet, HR, IT, Procurement, and Regional and Business Manager teams to collect specialized information and enhance future bids.

• Preserve libraries of model answers, case studies, and supporting content.

• Enhance standard bid templates and identify opportunities for development through regional meetings.

• Assist the Commercial Director and contribute to Biffa’s Balanced Business Plan.

• Aid in improving Biffa’s bid-writing capabilities and overall commercial performance.

• Degree-level education (or equivalent experience) with demonstrated expertise in bid writing, tendering, or pricing.

• Exceptional written communication skills, numerical aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Highly organized and self-driven, capable of managing multiple deadlines in a time-sensitive commercial environment.

• Confident communicator with robust interpersonal skills, effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

• A collaborative team player with a history of supporting complex projects and achieving KPI-driven objectives.

• Proficient in IT, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and business systems, and adaptable to meet rigorous deadlines.
