📋 Description

• Generate a substantial number of comedy ideas based on established characters.

• Create humorous scenarios, character interactions, comic concepts, recurring themes, and social media hooks.

• Deeply understand the personalities, relationships, and world of the characters.

• Consistently produce a steady flow of ideas and content on a weekly basis.

• Develop concepts for comics, memes, stickers/GIFs, short-form videos, and static social media posts.

• Adapt concepts to fit various formats and platforms.

• Design ideas where text and visuals collaborate to generate humor.

• Transform comedy and character ideas into clear creative briefs for illustrators.

• Work collaboratively with the team using project management tools and regular check-ins.

• Expand the existing character universe through comedy, social media content, memes, comics, short-form animations, and character storytelling.

• Complete the application form and submit a video demonstrating relevant skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in LATAM, Africa, or Eastern Europe.

• Availability to work from 9 AM to 5 PM EST, aligning with U.S. business hours.

• A keen and up-to-date understanding of U.S. humor and internet culture.

• Strong intuition for character-based comedy.

• Solid grasp of how text and visuals interact to create humor.

• Capability to translate creative ideas into briefs that illustrators can implement.

• Ability to produce a large quantity of ideas and discern the most compelling concepts.

• Proficiency in adapting concepts across comics, memes, short-form videos, stickers/GIFs, and static social media content.

• Experience in writing for a character or mascot brand is advantageous.

• Background or significant interest in animated characters, comics, and toy culture is a plus.

• Formal experience level is flexible; candidates who are junior, senior, self-taught, or formally trained will be considered.

• An English resume in PDF format is required.

• Submission of a video showcasing relevant skills is mandatory.

• Examples of comedy, character-driven, or social content must be provided.

• Responses to application questions, including those related to AI tools and use cases, are required.
