This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Conduct research, compose, and publish precise and timely news articles for FlightGlobal.com
• Assist in the creation of features and analytical pieces for Flight International and other editorial offerings
• Track developments within the airline, defense, and aerospace industries, including financial results, regulatory updates, and corporate news
• Perform interviews with executives, analysts, and other key industry figures
• Help provide live coverage from significant industry events and air shows
• Generate concepts for multimedia content, such as newsletters, podcasts, and digital features
• Engage in social media coverage and foster audience interaction within the designated coverage area
• Maintain the highest standards of editorial integrity, accuracy, fairness, and balance
• Collaborate with seasoned editors and reporters
• Recent graduate with a degree in journalism, communications, media, political science, business, aerospace, or a related discipline
• Exceptional written English skills and a keen attention to detail
• Proven interest in aviation, aerospace, defense, or business journalism
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic newsroom setting
• Strong research capabilities and comfort with data, financial documents, and company reports
• Professional curiosity and confidence to pose insightful questions
• Capacity to work autonomously in a remote work environment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Previous internship experience, journalism background, or published work is advantageous, but not mandatory
